Lance Harwell
 

Lance E. Harwell was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, April 30, 1962. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1984. In 1992, he earned a Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola University School of Law. Lance has taught seminars on Louisiana Insurance Workers’ Compensation law and Louisiana business enterprises. His most recent seminars were "The Savvy Practitioner's Guide to Insurance Settlements in Louisiana" and "An In-Depth Analysis of Insurance Coverage Options". He practices primarily in the field of construction litigation, insurance defense litigation and worker's compensation defense litigation. He has also spoken on "Flood Insurance v. Homeowners Insurance" and "Working with Your Insurance Adjuster" for the Vietnamese-American Community in Louisiana.

He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Member, Sections on: Litigation, Trial Practice; Committees on: Admiralty and Maritime Litigation, Insurance Coverage Litigation, Tort and Insurance Practice, Trial Techniques and Workers’ Compensation), Louisiana State Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and American Immigration Lawyers Association. He also serves as a member of the American Bar Association Advisory Panel. He is married and the father of one son.
